London, United Kingdom | Posted on 04/15/2026Our client is looking for a Technical Artist , remote role for 6 months.This role is responsible for making sure the game looks the best it can while running smooth.Your ability to creatively combine technical and artistic skills will directly contribute to the top tier visuals of Beat Saber.5+ years of experience with Unity2+ years of experience in a TA roleResponsibilities include:Help to Improve and define our Environment and VFX workflows, tooling and shadersComing up with creative solutions to deliver polished and performant VR visualsIdentify and use wide range of Unity and standalone tools that best fit each taskContribute to our hand-written HLSL über-shaders, ensuring they remain clean, optimised, and efficientCreate visual effects for Gameplay and UI and help teammates do the sameResolve technical, visual and performance issuesRequirementsExtensive experience with Unity toolset - Animations, Timelines, Particle Systems, VFX Graph, Nested Prefabs, Material Property Blocks, etcExperience creating technical 3D and 2D assets in procedural DCC tools (e.g. baking arbitrary data into textures and mesh properties)Deep knowledge of Forward & Built-in rendering pipelines and mobile/VR optimizationsExperience using hand-written shaders to create unique visual.Healthcare contribution and inclusion in company pension schemeWork laptop and phone25 days annual leave (pro-rata) plus paid bank holidaysExpanding workforce with potential for career progression for top performers #J-18808-Ljbffr
