Rate: £250 - £400 per day, on a PAYE Model
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Artist make sure Meta’s game looks the best it can whilst running smoothy.
We need someone who is able to combine creative technical skills and artistic skills.
Responsibilities:
- Help to Improve and define our Environment and VFX workflows, tooling and shaders
- Coming up with creative solutions to deliver polished and performant VR visuals
- Identify and use wide range of Unity and standalone tools that best fit each task
- Contribute to our hand-written HLSL über-shaders, ensuring they remain clean, optimized, and efficient
- Create visual effects for Gameplay and UI and help teammates do the same
- Resolve technical, visual and performance issues
- Extensive 3D & 2D asset creation experience
- Deep knowledge of rendering pipelines
- Mobile/VR optimizations
- 5+ years of experience with Unity
- 2+ years of experience in a TA role
- Need a portfolio of work to display
- Extensive experience with Unity toolset - Animations, Timelines, Particle Systems, VFX Graph, Nested Prefabs, Material Property Blocks, etc
- Experience creating technical 3D and 2D assets in procedural DCC tools (e.g. baking arbitrary data into textures and mesh properties)
- Deep knowledge of Forward & Built-in rendering pipelines and mobile/VR optimizations
- Experience using hand-written shaders to create unique visuals
- Creating original textures, meshes, sprite sheets and shaders
