Use strong EYFS curriculum knowledge to plan developmentally appropriate, engaging lessons. Create a calm, structured, autism-supportive environment, drawing on approaches such as the SPELL framework. Adapt the curriculum to meet individual needs, interests and EHCP targets. Work closely with a skilled multi-disciplinary team - therapists, psychologists, SEN specialists and support staff. Build strong, supportive relationships with families and external professionals. Lead your classroom with confidence, taking responsibility for planning, behaviour, staff management and organisation.
