Senior Planner - Greater Manchester\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are looking for an experienced Senior Planner to support the delivery of civil engineering projects ranging from £200k to £10m+. You will be responsible for developing and managing detailed project programmes, driving efficiency, and ensuring successful project outcomes.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Develop and maintain detailed, resource-loaded project plans\n\n * Support tender, pre-construction, and live project phases\n\n * Identify risks, opportunities, and critical path impacts\n\n * Monitor progress and update programmes and reports\n\n * Advise delivery teams on planning changes and mitigation strategies\n\n * Attend site visits and progress meetings\n\n * Integrate subcontractor programmes\n\n * Produce reports, lookaheads, and programme submissions\n\n * Support 4D planning and impact analysis\n\nRequirements\n\n * Advanced Primavera P6 experience\n\n * Strong knowledge of NEC contracts\n\n * Experience leading collaborative planning processes\n\n * Ability to interpret technical drawings\n\n * Strong communication and organisational skills\n\n * Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines\n\nDesirable:\n\n * Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) experience\n\n * Site-based project experience\n\n * Relevant degree (Civil Engineering/Construction)\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\n * Competitive salary + benefits package\n\n * Pension, life assurance, private medical\n\n * 25 days leave + bank holidays\n\n * Career development and progression opportunities\n\n * Supportive and inclusive working environment
