We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Internal Sales Executive to join our Sales department. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, this role is crucial for managing and nurturing relationships across our client base, including DSPs, OSMs, and driver networks. The successful candidate will combine skills in account management, relationship building, lead generation, and operational coordination to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and growth.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain ongoing communication with DSPs and OSMs to ensure satisfaction and contract performance, including regular check-ins, feedback collection, issue escalation, and system support.
- Fact-Finding & Intelligence Gathering: Gather relevant information from clients and networks to inform business strategy, identifying new sites, contracts, performance updates, or operational challenges.
- Driver Engagement & Support: Act as a liaison between the company and driver partners to ensure compliance and satisfaction, monitor driver feedback, identify problems with drivers, and coordinate with internal teams for resolution.
- Lead Generation: Identify and nurture new opportunities from existing accounts, referrals, or new business, spotting upselling opportunities, developing leads, and qualifying quality leads for BDM close.
- Appointment Setting & Coordination: Support the BDM by setting up meetings with prospective and existing clients, qualify leads, coordinate appointment logistics, and ensure seamless handover to BDM.
- Client Feedback & Quality Assurance: Collect insights to improve platform functionality and user experience, regularly gather app feedback and communicate with product and operations and customer success teams.
- Event Coordination & Representation: Support the BDM with trade shows, client visits, and industry events, assist with event logistics, follow up on connections made, maintain event databases.
- Audit & Compliance Oversight: Ensure payments, renewals, and documentation are processed accurately, track client renewals, review engagement letters, and follow up on outstanding actions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and client-facing communication skills.
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working with digital tools (CRM, onboarding systems, data trackers).
- Sales-minded with the ability to spot and act on growth opportunities.
- Team player, collaborative, and able to work cross-functionally between sales, operations, and compliance teams.
Benefits:
- Commission & Performance Incentives:
- £25 per signed engagement letter.
- Renewals: £50 (1-year), £75 (2-year), £150 (3-year) per renewal.
- Leads & Conversions: £300 per successful conversion after six months of contract activity.
