The HR Advisor plays a critical role in working closely with management and employees to provide comprehensive support and deliver a value-added HR service. You will:

  1. Act as a consultant to management on HR-related issues and provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  2. Act as a trusted advisor in all employee relations matters, including TUPE transfers.
  3. Provide guidance to managers and employees in a timely and professional manner.
  4. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations where required.
  5. Implement HR initiatives aligned with overall business requirements.
  6. Partner with leadership to develop and implement organisational strategies.
  7. Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  8. Drive HR initiatives to establish and retain talent within the business.
  9. Collaborate with managers to understand future resourcing needs and provide strategic solutions.
  10. Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to managers.
  11. Assist in developing and implementing performance improvement plans.
  12. Analyse HR data to diagnose organisational issues and develop solutions.
  13. Provide guidance on pay and remuneration issues.
  14. Work collaboratively with the HR Shared Services Administration Manager to identify and implement process improvements across the HR function to deliver HR excellence.

We are looking for a self-motivated, conscientious, and proactive individual with integrity. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a busy HR department, a minimum of CIPD level 5 or equivalent, and a good understanding of UK employment law. Experience in the care sector and regional roles is desirable but not essential. A valid car for business use and willingness to stay overnight occasionally are required.
