Financial Controller | PE-Backed Hospitality | 12 Month FTC | High-Impact Integration Role

Equifind is partnering with a fast-growing, private equity-backed hospitality group in London that is undergoing an exciting phase of expansion through acquisition. As part of this growth, they are seeking a high-calibre Financial Controller to lead the integration of a newly acquired business and bring its finance function in-house.

This is a pivotal role with significant visibility and ownership, ideally suited to an ambitious, hands-on finance leader who thrives in a transformation environment and is comfortable operating with autonomy.

The Opportunity

This role will take full ownership of transitioning an outsourced finance function into a London-based operation, while integrating the newly acquired business into the wider group. You will play a critical role in building a scalable finance function and embedding best-in-class processes, controls, and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the post-acquisition integration of the finance function into the group
• Manage the transition from an outsourced accounting model to an in-house London team
• Oversee system and process integration, including, migration to Business Central, bank account setup and rationalisation, payroll provider transition
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team from the ground up
• Establish robust financial controls, reporting processes, and governance frameworks
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting aligned to group standards

Candidate Profile

• Qualified accountant (or equivalent), ideally with a background in audit
• Proven experience in a Financial Controller or similar leadership role
• Demonstrated experience of onshoring a finance function and/or leading acquisition integrations
• Experience in private equity-backed or high-growth environments is highly desirable
• Hospitality or multi-site experience is a plus
