We are working on a standout Financial Controller opportunity within real estate at a particularly exciting point in the platform’s growth.

The business is well backed, has capital to deploy, and is actively expanding across both operational assets and a wider development pipeline. As a result, the Finance Director is looking to hire an ambitious real estate finance professional to act as their number two and play a central role in the next phase of growth.

The role

This is not a pure control position.

It sits across fund, asset and corporate lines, combining oversight of financial reporting with direct involvement in transactions, asset performance and investor interaction.

You will:

• Own the financial control environment across a growing portfolio, overseeing both internal teams and outsourced providers

• Act as a key review point for reporting, board outputs and external deliverables

• Partner with the investment team on valuations, performance and strategic decisions

• Support transactions across acquisitions, developments and new asset onboarding

• Work closely with senior leadership on budgeting, performance tracking and cost control

• Manage key relationships across audit, tax, lenders and external stakeholders

• Help develop a small but growing finance team

Profile

• ACA qualified, either already in a similar real estate finance role and ready for the next step, or an Audit Manager with strong exposure to funds, propcos or REITs looking to move in house

• Strong technical grounding with the ability to operate beyond pure reporting

• Comfortable across stakeholders, with a commercial and hands on approach
