Job Description
Cobalt Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading property management brand as they look to hire a Facilities Manager for a mixed-use campus in the City of London.
Working in tandem with the Estate Manager, you'll be a crucial part of delivering a top tier total FM service across offices, retail and leisure spaces, as well as public realm. Our client is a well-established name in the Real Estate world that has forged a reputation for curating and managing spaces that enhance wellness and productivity for all who use them - and this all starts with hiring and supporting quality Facilities Managers like yourself.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Carrying out regular inspections of the property, reporting defects and ensuring issues are logged and tracked via the helpdesk; Managing the work of outsourced service partners across both hard and soft FM suppliers; Helping to ensure full compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation; Ensuring a comprehensive planned preventative maintenance programme is in place, as well as overseeing CAPEX works as and when they arise; Assisting with setting and managing the service charge budget for the properties; Building lasting relationships with your customers on-site, looking to provide an enhanced level of customer experience for them; Liaising with a wide variety of stakeholders as to the day to day management of the estate including the client, customers, contractors, and other public bodies as needed.
As the successful applicant, you'll be able to demonstrate prior FM experience within a Real Estate environment, ideally including having managed a service charge budget. Having managing multi-let offices would be advantageous, but not essential, although having at least an IOSH qualification is a necessity for this position.
Beyond your core total FM skills, you'll be a confident communicator and be able to demonstrate the ability to enhance a strong FM service provision for your customers. As a proactive, driven individual you'll find yourself working alongside like-minded individuals and within a company that is dedicated to promoting your professional & personal growth in addition to your wellbeing.
