Job Description

We are seeking an EA with emotional intelligence to support the Chief Executive of an ambitious and purpose-driven organisation. This role requires someone who can think ahead, protect the Chief Executives time, manage competing priorities, manage the Board from end to end, and bring both structure and flexibility to a dynamic leadership style. Supporting the Chief Executive directly, you will act as a trusted right hand, ensuring priorities are managed effectively and the executive office runs seamlessly. The successful candidate will be confident operating with autonomy, handling sensitive matters discreetly, and building strong relationships across internal teams, boards, and external stakeholders. This position is initially offered on a temporary basis due to the need for an immediate start, with strong potential to become permanent for the right EA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full executive support to the Chief Executive, including complex diary management and inbox oversight
  • \n\t
  • Protecting and prioritising the Chief Executives time while balancing wider organisational needs
  • \n\t
  • Bringing structure, pace, and accountability to shifting priorities
  • \n\t
  • Managing the end-to-end board process, including agendas, resolutions, papers, minutes, and action tracking
  • \n\t
  • Supporting multiple boards and committees across the UK and US
  • \n\t
  • Coordinating senior internal and external stakeholder engagement
  • \n\t
  • Line management of a Personal Assistant / Office Coordinator
  • \n\t
  • Working collaboratively with other Executive Assistants across the business
  • \n\t
  • Supporting high-profile peak periods, events, and international activity throughout the year
  • \n

Skills:

  • Experience supporting a CEO, Founder, Chair, or senior executive
  • \n\t
  • Proven experience managing boards, governance processes, or committees
  • \n\t
  • Outstanding organisational skills and strong attention to detail
  • \n\t
  • Excellent judgement with the confidence to push back when needed
  • \n\t
  • A proactive, solutions-led mindset with the ability to anticipate needs
  • \n\t
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder management ability
  • \n\t
  • Previous line management experience would be a bonus
  • \n\t
  • A genuine interest in purpose-led organisations
  • \n
