We are seeking a dedicated Lecturer to deliver engaging and effective GCSE Maths and English lessons at a lovely college based in East London.  This temporary position requiring a committed educator who can step in and maintain high educational standards.

Lecturer - Maths and English (GCSE)

• Hourly Rate: £25-£35ph
• Location: London, East 
• Job Type: Temporary (ongoing sickness cover 
• Working Hours: Full time 

Day-to-day of the role if a Lecturer of Maths and English:

• Deliver high-quality teaching in GCSE Maths and English to students aged 16-18.
• Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials that meet curriculum standards.
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
• Provide guidance and support to students to help them achieve their academic goals.
• Engage with educational technologies to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
• Maintain discipline in accordance with the school's procedures and encourage good practice with regard to punctuality, behaviour, standards of work, and homework.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must hold a recognised Teaching Qualification.
• Proven experience in teaching GCSE Maths and English.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to create an inclusive learning environment that fosters enthusiasm and learning.
• Capability to assess and evaluate teaching and learning outcomes effectively.
