Salt are partnering with a global media and content organisation and are looking for a Marketing Manager to join on a contract basis.

  • Contract Duration: 2 months (ASAP Start)


About the Role:


This is a short‑term, high‑impact Marketing Manager role suited to a hands‑on, performance‑driven marketer who can quickly assess existing activity and deliver measurable commercial results in a fast‑paced environment.


You’ll take ownership of digital marketing performance, rapidly auditing current campaigns and implementing optimisations across paid media channels. The role blends strategic thinking with execution, requiring someone comfortable managing budgets, testing creative and audiences, and driving efficiency through continuous optimisation.


Working closely with senior stakeholders and cross‑functional teams, you’ll translate complex data into clear, actionable insight and ensure activity is tightly aligned to commercial objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and optimise performance‑focused digital marketing activity across paid media channels
  • Plan, launch and manage campaigns across platforms such as search, social and other relevant digital channels
  • Own budget allocation, audience targeting and creative testing strategies
  • Drive performance improvements against key KPIs including CPA, CTR, conversion rate and margin
  • Design and execute structured A/B testing across creative, audiences and landing pages
  • Use analytics tools to interpret data and inform optimisation decisions
  • Step into the role quickly, prioritising effectively to deliver tangible results within a short timeframe
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with senior stakeholders and cross‑functional partners
  • Work comfortably with CRM systems, CMS platforms and marketing automation tools, adapting quickly to new technology stacks


Requirements:

  • Strong background in performance‑led digital marketing
  • Advanced hands‑on experience with paid media platforms and optimisation techniques
  • Highly analytical with strong problem‑solving skills
  • Commercially minded with a focus on efficiency and measurable impact
  • Confident stakeholder manager, comfortable influencing at senior level
  • Proven ability to operate in fast‑moving, delivery‑focused environments
