Job Description

Lynx Recruitment are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to design and deliver modern, cloud-first digital services that support large-scale public sector transformation.

This role is ideal for a Cloud or Solution Architect looking to expand into AI-led architecture, with greater exposure to data platforms, automation, and AI-driven capabilities. You will shape secure, scalable and user-focused solutions, working within multidisciplinary teams to translate business needs into pragmatic, sustainable technical architectures.

Key Responsibilities

Design end-to-end cloud- architectures across applications, data, integration, and platforms. Translate business requirements into clear technical designs and architectural decisions. Ensure solutions meet scalability, security, resilience, and performance requirements. Support the integration of AI and automation capabilities into enterprise systems. Collaborate with delivery teams including engineers, analysts, and AI specialists. Provide architectural governance and oversight through build and live service stages.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Solution or Cloud Architect delivering services on AWS, Azure or similar platforms. Strong understanding of modern architecture patterns including APIs, integrations, and data platforms. Experience working in public sector or regulated environments is beneficial. Interest or experience in AI, automation, or data-driven architectures. Strong stakeholder communication and architectural decision-making skills. Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.

Education:

Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related technology discipline with a minimum 2:1 (or equivalent).
