Job Description

Solution Architect Location: London - 2/3 days on site Duration: 04/05/2027 Rate- £506 MUST BE PAYE THROUGH UMBRELLA

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n Lead and manage software development projects using Java, Python, Typescript, AWS, React JS, Angular, and other technologies. \n

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. \n

Create the high-level design (or solution architecture documents) for the business requirements \n

Produce several option papers and work with architecture community and forums to get the designs approved \n

Proficient using architectural principles and patterns, variety of solution types, detailed design patterns, best practices, integration choices etc \n

Design solutions reducing technical debt with futuristic solutions aligning to enterprise architecture and vision \n

Aim to reuse the existing applications, services, and data, wherever possible \n

Work with cross-functional teams to deliver the defined scope, objectives, and deliverables on technical grounds \n

Facilitate communication between stakeholders, development teams, and other departments. \n

Ensure adherence to software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and best practices. \n

Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. \n

Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed. \n

Provide technical guidance and support to development teams. \n

Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders. \n

Utilize tools such as ServiceNow, Confluence, and JIRA for project tracking and documentation. \n

Qualifications:

\n

\n Strong Insurance domain working experience, london market experience will be added advantage \n

Strong technical experience in Architecture, Design and Development \n

Strong technical background with expertise in .Net, Java, Python, Typescript, AWS, React JS, and Angular. \n

Proven experience managing end-to-end project lifecycles. \n

Exceptional leadership and team management skills. \n

Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. \n

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. \n
