The successful candidate will support the delivery of key civil engineering works across the highways programme, providing technical expertise, accurate setting-out, and ensuring compliance with design and quality standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Setting-out for highways, drainage, structures and associated works\n\n * \n\n Oversee and check site activities to ensure adherence to design specifications\n\n * \n\n Produce and maintain key quality assurance documents\n\n * \n\n Support site teams with technical guidance and problem-solving\n\n * \n\n Liaise with subcontractors, designers and project management\n\n * \n\n Assist with progress reporting and maintaining accurate records\n\nRequirements\n\n * \n\n Previous experience as a Site Engineer on highways or major civils projects\n\n * \n\n Strong understanding of highways specifications and QA processes\n\n * \n\n Proficient with engineering instruments and relevant software\n\n * \n\n CSCS card and suitable engineering qualifications\n\n * \n\n Ability to start as soon as possible\n\nContract Details\n\n * \n\n Location: Gloucester\n\n * \n\n Duration: 18 months\n\n * \n\n Day Rate: £300–£400\n\n * \n\n Start: ASAP\n\nHow to Apply\nIf you are an experienced Site Engineer looking for an immediate start on a major highways scheme, please send your CV or get in touch for further details
