Senior Service Designer

London (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite)

Up to £76,000 + 10% Bonus + Benefits

We’re partnering with a global design consultancy, part of one of the world’s largest tech and transformation businesses, as they grow their public sector design team in London. They’re looking for a Senior Service Designer to help shape inclusive, scalable services that deliver measurable impact across government and healthcare.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading service design work across complex, multi-stakeholder public sector programmes
  • Translating research and policy into user journeys, service blueprints, and delivery plans
  • Running co-creation sessions, workshops, and stakeholder engagement activities
  • Providing design direction across agile delivery teams
  • Supporting junior designers and championing best practice in service design
  • Collaborating with technologists, researchers, strategists, and policy teams


We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in a consulting or agency environment, working on large-scale transformation programmes
  • Has a track record of delivering impactful service design work in public sector settings
  • Is confident engaging with senior stakeholders and shaping strategic direction
  • Brings strong capabilities in systems thinking, design leadership, and service mapping
  • Understands the delivery lifecycle from discovery through to implementation


The Package:

  • Salary up to £76,000
  • 10% annual bonus
  • Hybrid working (2–3 days in the London studio or with clients)
