Job Description

Our client, a well-established and highly respected construction and property consultancy, is looking to appoint an MRICS Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Leeds office. This is a key hire within a growing team, offering genuine responsibility, variety of projects, and clear progression opportunities.\n\nThe successful candidate will support a Senior Associate who oversees a team of five surveyors, playing an important role in project delivery and team development.\n\nYou will take commercial responsibility for projects typically ranging from £3m–£10m, working across a genuinely varied portfolio.\n\nYou will:\n \nPrepare cost plans, feasibility studies and budgets \nManage procurement and tender processes \nAdminister contracts (primarily JCT, with some NEC exposure) \nProduce cost reports and manage financial control \nHandle variations, change management and final accounts \nAct as a key client contact \nSupport and mentor junior team members About You \nMRICS qualified (essential) \nStrong consultancy background \nProven experience managing projects in the £3m–£10m range \nComfortable working across multiple sectors \nConfident client-facing professional \nCommercially astute, organised and proactive The Opportunity \nJoin a respected consultancy with a strong Midlands presence \nWork on diverse and interesting projects - not just one sector \nClear progression within a growing Leeds office \nA salary up to £65,000 and comprehensive benefits package
