Job Description

We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our high performing Yorkshire region. We deliver projects between £10m -£80 million across multiple sectors such including Education, Leisure, commercial, transport & residential… so no two projects are the same!\n\nAs the successful candidate, you will take ownership of commercial delivery across various projects from feasibility to completion. You will need strong contractual knowledge to provide commercial control of work packages throughout the project lifecycle whilst reporting accurately.\n\nAt Willmott Dixon, we value our supply chain partners as part of our extended team.

To succeed in this role, you must be an effective communicator, relationship-builder, and adaptable team player, thriving in a fast-paced environment.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nSelf-sufficient in managing projects from preconstruction through to delivery\nAbility to control costs, prevent scope creep, and manage risk across all packages\nStrong understanding of contractual requirements and compliance.\nExperience with client invoicing, contract cost reporting, procurement, and supply chain management.\nStrong reporting skills, including Cost/Value reporting, cost-to-complete analysis and external financial forecasting.\nExperience with NEC and JCT contracts.\nProficiency in MS Excel and Bluebeam (or similar measurement tools)\nProven procurement and subcontractor management experience.\nHistory of being confident and comfortable in a customer-facing surveying role.\nPrevious team leadership experience.Desirable Criteria\n\nDegree in Construction or a related field.\nMembership or working towards MCIOB or RICS.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive, high-performing team, working on exciting and impactful projects.\n\nAdditional Information\n\nWe reward our people generously with a competitive package that gives you flexible benefits to fit your lifestyle and priorities.
