Senior Quantity Surveyor – RefurbishmentYeadon, Leeds£50,000 to £60,000 DOE + excellent benefits

We are recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a well-established refurbishment and fit-out specialist delivering high-quality projects across the commercial and public sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a business that provides an end-to-end service, from initial design through to full installation.

This Senior Quantity Surveyor role is a commercially focused, office-based position, responsible for overseeing the financial and contractual performance of refurbishment projects from tender stage through to final account. The role would suit a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to take on a broader commercial remit within a supportive environment that offers long-term career development.

The Role – Senior Quantity Surveyor

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, oversee the commercial management of refurbishment projects under JCT and bespoke company contracts

Support pre-construction activity, including tenders, pricing and bid submissions

Review tender allowances, margins, exclusions and risks

Establish and manage project budgets, tracking performance against forecasts

Produce regular commercial reports, including margin and gross profit forecasts

Prepare valuations, applications for payment and subcontractor assessments

Manage variations and change control to protect commercial position

About You – Senior Quantity Surveyor

Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within construction or refurbishment

Also open to candidates currently operating at Commercial Manager level

Good understanding of JCT contracts

Experience supporting tenders, pricing or bid submissions

Confident managing costs, budgets and commercial reporting

Highly organised, commercially astute and solution-focused
