Collaborating with supportive team members, clients, stakeholders, and contractors, you'll enjoy opportunities to mentor co-workers while advancing your career. \nYour Purpose: \n·Leading Projects: Be the focal commercial point on water infrastructure projects and commissions, managing client relationships. \n·Collaboration: Work within the client team and liaise with leadership, project managers, contractors, and internal teams to maintain strong relationships.
\n·Cost Management: Monitor and control water project costs to ensure delivery within budget. Validate and manage contractor and supplier costs and payments. \n·Reporting: Provide regular financial reports to give clients confidence in their project outcomes, presenting financial performance and risk updates.
\n·Procurement: Support procurement activities, evaluating and appointing contractors for water industry projects. \n·Contract Administration: Administer various contract types, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions. Review contract changes, ensuring timely submissions and agreement.
\n·Risk and Value Management: Identify, analyze, and mitigate commercial risks. Assist in value engineering to optimize project performance. \n·Developing Colleagues: Work closely with your team to foster career progression and mentor colleagues.
\nAbout You: \n·BSc in Quantity Surveying or a similar discipline. \n·Experience in both pre and post-contract quantity surveying duties. \n·Familiarity with NEC4, FIDIC, or ICHEME contract frameworks.
\n·Understanding of methods of measurement (CESMM4/MMHW). \n·Experience with water infrastructure projects or civil infrastructure (highways, utilities, or rail) is desirable but not essential. \n·A member or working towards membership with the Chartered Institute of Surveyors (RICS) or other recognized equivalent bodies.
