1:1 Teaching Assistant - Primary School (Stockport)

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a primary school in Stockport. This rewarding role involves working on a 1:1 basis with a pupil who has complex Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and skilled Teaching Assistant who is passionate about making a real difference in a child's educational journey.

The Role:

Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with complex SEND requirements Implementing tailored strategies to support learning, behaviour, and emotional needs Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised support Creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment Supporting the pupil's social and emotional developmentThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience working with SEND pupils in a primary school setting A calm, patient, and resilient approach Strong behaviour management skills Team Teach training (essential) A proactive and adaptable attitudeWhat We Offer:
