Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Barnet, North London Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term Pay: £90-£115 per day Start Date: January 2026

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a compassionate and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to support primary-aged pupils with Autism in Barnet. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a nurturing, structured environment where pupils' individual needs are supported and celebrated.

The Role:

Support pupils with Autism in 1:1 and small-group settings

Assist with daily routines, learning activities, and personal care as needed

Implement individualised learning plans to help pupils develop social, emotional, and academic skills

Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour

Work closely with teachers and the SEN team to provide consistent support

About You:

Experience working with children with Autism (SEN school, ARP, or similar setting)

Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
