Reeson Education are looking for a skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join a successful Hackney primary school from January 2026, working on a 1:1 basis with a Year 1 pupil.

Daily Rate: £82.14 - £100

About the Role - SEN Teaching Assistant

Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 1 pupil with additional needs

Assist with learning, emotional wellbeing, and engagement in class

Adapt lessons and resources to meet the child's specific requirements

Work in close partnership with the SENCO and class teacher to deliver targeted strategies

Full-time, long-term role running through to the end of the academic year

Ideal Candidate - SEN Teaching Assistant

Prior experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant, TA, or in a similar role

Confidence in managing challenging behaviours calmly and effectively

Patient, empathetic, and passionate about SEN support

Strong communication and literacy skills

Enhanced DBS required (or willingness to apply)
