Sales Account Manager\n\nBusiness Development \n\nSalary: £75,000 OTE (£50,000 basic + £25,000 commission)\n\nAudio Visual / Unified Communications\n\nLocation: Berkshire (Office based and client sites)\n\nThe Opportunity\n\nI'm currently working with a well-established and growing AV, UC and collaboration technology integrator is seeking an experienced Account Manager / Business Development Manager to join its commercial team.\n\nThis is a great opportunity for someone already established in the AV/UC space who enjoys managing end-user relationships, developing new business, and positioning themselves as a trusted advisor to corporate clients.\n\nThe role will involve:\n\nManage, develop, and grow a portfolio of end-user accounts within the corporate and professional sectors\n\nIdentify and generate new business opportunities through proactive engagement with end users and technology partners\n\nLeverage existing relationships while confidently developing opportunities from an established end-user customer database\n\nAct as a trusted advisor, understanding client requirements and translating them into effective AV, UC and collaboration solutions\n\nSell both project-based solutions and associated professional, support, and managed services\n\nWork closely with internal delivery teams and vendor partners to ensure successful project outcomes\n\nMaintain a strong understanding of current and emerging AV, UC and collaboration technologies and market trends\n\nAccurately manage sales pipeline, forecasting, and CRM activity\n\nThis would suit someone who\n\nProven experience within the AV, UC and collaboration technology industry\n\nDemonstrable success in account management and/or business development roles\n\nExperience selling services (professional services, support contracts, managed services) is highly advantageous\n\nConfident and credible when discussing modern AV and UC solutions\n\nExisting end-user relationships that can be developed further\n\nCommercially minded, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team\n\nAmbitious, driven, and keen to progress within a growing organisation\n\nExcellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills\n\nWhat's on Offer\n\nA key commercial role within a respected and growing AV integrator\n\nThe opportunity to shape and grow your own client portfolio\n\nA collaborative culture with strong vendor and partner engagement\n\n£75,000 OTE (£50,000 basic + £25,000 commission)\n\nINDAV\n\nIf you're an experienced engineer looking for a new challenge and an opportunity to advance your career, we'd love to hear from you!\n\nPlease send an up to date CV to (url removed) or you can call on (phone number removed) to discuss the position with Lewis.\n\nAlecto Recruitment Limited is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
