Road Freight OperatorBradfordSalary: £28,000 - £35,000 per yearMonday - Friday - 09:00-17:30 (1 hour lunch break) We're looking for a hands-on Road Freight Operator to join our clients Bradford team. Manage all bookings, entering shipment information into the system and coordinating with partners and carriers to arrange transportation.Keep clients informed on shipment progress and proactively resolve any issues to ensure timely delivery.Prepare and issue all necessary documentation, including CMRs, transit papers, certificates, invoices, and customs forms as required.Forward instructions to carriers and ensure documentation is returned and processed correctly.Monitor shipments to meet company standards and customer expectations.Ensure cargo is released only with the correct documentation and cleared payments for non-credit accounts.Review and query supplier invoices when necessary, forwarding details to accounts.Ideal Candidate ExperiencePrevious experience in European road freight operations.Experience working for a UK based Freight Forwarder.Groupage an advantage, but not essential Knowledge of road freight documentation, including CMRs and customs paperwork.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to work with clients, carriers, and agents.WR Logistics are the #1 recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
