This is a position with responsibility for leading the commercial function from pre-construction through to final account.Key ResponsibilitiesFull commercial management of commercial and residential construction projectsPreparing and reviewing cost plans, estimates, and tendersManaging project budgets, forecasts, and cash flowProcurement and negotiation of subcontractor and supplier packagesValuation of works, assessment of variations, and agreement of final accountsProviding commercial and contractual advice to project and site teamsManaging risk, value engineering, and cost control processesMentoring and supporting junior commercial staffLiaising with clients, consultants, and senior stakeholdersRequirementsProven experience in aQuantity Surveyor/EstimatorroleStrong background incommercial and residential constructionExcellent knowledge of construction contracts and procurement routesAbility to manage projects independently from pre-contract to completionStrong leadership, negotiation, and communication skillsHigh level of commercial awareness and financial controlRelevant qualification in Quantity Surveying/Estimator (preferred)JBRP1_UKTJ
