This role will include: Maintaining a safe place of work, ensuring all activities performed are in accordance with regulatory and company Health and Safety policy and requirement. Support, Implement and monitor all Quality Assurance systems to ensure compliance with AS9100 as well as all required company, customer and regulatory requirements. Support customer requirements including RCCA, business development initiatives and workshops. Act as a point of contact on all quality matters both internally and externally including suppliers. Support internal and external audit scheduling to maintain all accreditations across the business. Support company Red Table NCR/RCCA activities. Ability to review and decipher First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR s). Support & Present during key customer business reviews. Encourage and implement standard processes and practice across the business. To act as a change agent ensuring the implementation of more robust quality controls and operating systems. Support and lead development of Waste Reduction & Variation Reduction practices and initiatives within the business. Undertaking any other duties, either for this department or any other department within the business, which may be requested by the Line Manager, for which training and/or explanation has been provided or understood. Skills and experience required: HNC in relevant discipline or Professional Quality Engineering qualification. AS9100 ISO9001 lead audit trained preferred. Good understanding of the aerospace market. Wide knowledge of product and processes used in the manufacture of aerospace parts and assemblies. Auditing experience. Champion / Lead continuous Improvement. Presenting skills (written and verbal). Experience of using problem solving techniques. Use of inspection and measuring equipment. Ability to read and decipher engineering drawings. Knowledge of AS, ISO and NADCAP standards. Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail. Ability to combine good business acumen with effective decision making. Ability to thrive within a fast-paced manufacturing business environment.
