Act as a point of contact on all quality matters both internally and externally including suppliers. Ability to review and decipher First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR s). To act as a change agent ensuring the implementation of more robust quality controls and operating systems. Support and lead development of Waste Reduction & Variation Reduction practices and initiatives within the business. Undertaking any other duties, either for this department or any other department within the business, which may be requested by the Line Manager, for which training and/or explanation has been provided or understood. HNC in relevant discipline or Professional Quality Engineering qualification. Wide knowledge of product and processes used in the manufacture of aerospace parts and assemblies. Use of inspection and measuring equipment. Ability to read and decipher engineering drawings.
