Project Manager (4–6 Month FTC) Location: Harwell Day Rate: £300–£600

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee snagging, defects, and workflow management across two biotech manufacturing buildings at our Harwell site. This is a fixed-term contract (4–6 months) where you will take the lead on construction close-out, H&S compliance, and contractor management within a GMP manufacturing plant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead on snagging & defects management.

* Oversee plantroom workflows, H&S, and permit-to-work processes.

* Review and assess RAMS, specifications, permits, and contractor documentation.

* Chair contractor meetings and coordinate with 3–4 main contractors and their teams (10–15 subcontractors).

* Ensure compliance with GMP standards and CDM regulations.

* Drive project close-out tasks to completion, reporting outcomes and resolving issues with the client team.

* Provide full accountability for project delivery, managing values between £20k–£2m.

Experience Required:

* Proven track record in biotech manufacturing / GMP environments with infrastructure or engineering improvements.

* Strong engineering or biotech background.
