Private Client Solicitor – Bradford/Leeds/York/Huddersfield A well-established and highly regarded Yorkshire law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its growing team. The Role This position would suit a confident and experienced Private Client Solicitor who is comfortable managing a busy and varied caseload while maintaining high standards of client care. You will handle a broad range of private client matters, with a particular focus on complex and taxable estates and trust work, alongside Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney. Key responsibilities:
Managing your own caseload of private client matters from instruction through to completion Advising on complex and taxable estates, including inheritance tax planning Drafting, setting up and administering trusts Preparing Wills and advising on estate planning Drafting and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney Handling estate administration, including high-value and complex estates Building and maintaining strong client relationships Working collaboratively with colleagues across multiple offices Ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal procedures
About You:
Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years PQE in Private Client work Strong experience managing a varied caseload independently Proven background in complex and taxable estates and trust matters Confident advising on Wills, estate planning and LPAs STEP qualification or working towards this would be advantageous Highly organised with strong attention to detail Excellent communication and client care skills Able to work flexibly across office locations if required
