Job Description

We are working on behalf of a leading M&E contractor who need a Planner/ Senior Planner to join them on a permanent basis in their Yorkshire office.\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, yet growing company, turning over close to £500m. This is a secure role that offers long term security, the role would see you covering projects such as Education, Industrial, Custodial, Healthcare and Commercial with values ranging from £5m - £15m.\n\nAs a Planner you will:\n\n* Work with the site team and main contractor to ensure the projects have fully integrated programmes sequenced to allow the successful completion of the project\n\n* Thoroughly study specifications, drawings and relevant contract documents/ correspondence in conjunction with engineers and surveyors\n\n* Carry out regular reporting on projects to allow the site team to understand the programme position in relation to progress\n\n* Liaise with the project team to ensure progress reports, progress percentages and drop-down programmes, are produced and issued in accordance with best practices\n\n* Work with project controls, critical path analysis, program controlling, checking resources and producing KPI dashboards.\n\nDesirables:\n\n* Asta or P6 qualifications/ experience\n* Familiar with NEC & JCT contracts\n* M&E experience is desired but not essential - there would be structured training and support from the wider operations team to guide you with M&E integrations\n\nThis is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team offering structure, the opportunity to work on large scale diverse projects and very realistic long term progression
