We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional care and education for young children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience managing a nursery environment.

Duties

• Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all children.
• Manage staff, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to enhance their skills.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote children's learning and development.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, addressing any concerns or feedback regarding their child's progress.
• Drive initiatives to maintain high standards of childcare and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Foster a positive atmosphere that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
• Monitor children's progress and well-being, ensuring that each child's individual needs are met.

Experience

• Proven experience in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and staff.
• A background in early childhood education is highly desirable.
• Experience working with children of various age groups, demonstrating an understanding of their developmental needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Maths GCSE
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Passion for early childhood education
• Experience in a nursery setting.
