Deputy Nursery Manager (Assistant Manager) based Hemel Hempstead

Salary: £15.25 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday

Are you passionate about early years education and ready to take the next step in your childcare career? Blue Arrow are looking for a dedicated and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our client's team to support the Nursery Manager in delivering outstanding care and education.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing the day-to-day running of the nursery ensuring high-quality childcare provision. Support staff management, including recruitment, training, and performance monitoring. Ensure compliance with Ofsted and Early Years Foundation Stage standards. Maintain effective communication with parents, staff, and external agencies. Help manage nursery finances and occupancy to meet targets. Take responsibility in the Manager's absence and contribute to nursery development plans. Oversee health & safety, safeguarding, and promote equality and diversity within the nursery.

About You:

Proven experience in a senior childcare role, ideally Deputy or Assistant Manager level. Strong leadership and team management skills.
