Key Responsibilities Lead and develop the Mechanical Engineering team Oversee lifecycle delivery of mechanical/electromechanical systems Ensure quality of designs, analyses, and technical documentation Manage resources, recruitment, and team capability Drive delivery against cost, schedule, and performance targets Improve engineering processes, standards, and best practices Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple programmes Skills & Experience Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) Experience in defence, maritime, or aerospace systems Strong knowledge of design, manufacturing, and analysis Proven team leadership and capability development Ability to review and approve engineering outputs Strong stakeholder communication skills Desirable Chartered Engineer status CREO, Windchill or similar CAD/PLM tools Knowledge of REACH/RoHS, FEA, CFD Note: SC Clearance required (or eligibility to obtain). xehkeey If you're looking to lead engineering teams while staying close to complex, real-world systems, this is a strong next step.
