Mechanical Construction Manager\n\nLocation: Canary Wharf, London\nSalary: £70,000 + Bonus + Travel Allowance\nContract: Permanent\n\nThe Opportunity\n\nOne of London’s leading MEP contractors is seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to join the team on a CAT B commercial fit-out project in Canary Wharf.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join an industry-leading contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects, a healthy secured pipeline of work, and a genuine commitment to developing its staff.\n\nKnown for low staff turnover and clear progression routes, this contractor offers long-term stability alongside the chance to work on prestigious commercial schemes.\n\nRole Overview\n\nAs Mechanical Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day site delivery of the mechanical package, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.\n\nYou will coordinate subcontractors, manage site teams, and work closely with the senior project team to drive successful project delivery.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Oversee day-to-day mechanical construction activities on site\n\n * \n\n Manage subcontractors, labour, and specialist suppliers\n\n * \n\n Ensure works are delivered in line with programme and specifications\n\n * \n\n Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality compliance\n\n * \n\n Monitor progress and report to senior management\n\n * \n\n Coordinate inspections, snagging, and commissioning readiness\n\n * \n\n Liaise with clients and internal delivery teams\n\nRequirements\n\n * \n\n Proven experience as a Mechanical Construction Manager within MEP / building services\n\n * \n\n Strong background in CAT A / CAT B commercial fit-out projects\n\n * \n\n Excellent site management and coordination skills\n\n * \n\n Strong focus on programme, quality, and H&S compliance\n\n * \n\n Ability to lead teams and deliver projects in fast-paced commercial environments\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\n * \n\n £70,000 salary\n\n * \n\n Bonus scheme\n\n * \n\n Travel allowance\n\n * \n\n Clear progression opportunities\n\n * \n\n Long-term stability with a low staff turnover contractor\n\n * \n\n Opportunity to join one of London’s most respected MEP businesses
