Mechanical Construction Manager - Central London\n£60/70k + Travel + Bonus + Healthcare\n\nWe're representing a well-established, privately owned M&E contractor with a turnover of circa £100m, delivering technically complex projects across the commercial fit-out and design & build sectors. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are looking to appoint a Mechanical Construction Manager to support delivery on high-profile Central London projects.\n\nThe Role\nReporting into the Project Manager/Project Director, you will take responsibility for the mechanical package on-site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard of quality. Projects are typically commercial fit-out schemes with M&E values up to £20m.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\nSupervising and coordinating all mechanical site activities\nManaging subcontractors and direct labour on a day-to-day basis\nEnsuring works are delivered in line with programme and project milestones\nDriving health & safety compliance across site (RAMS, permits, etc.)\nWorking closely with design and commercial teams to resolve technical and coordination issues\nMonitoring quality of installation and ensuring compliance with specifications\nSupporting commissioning and handover processesThe Candidate\nWe're looking for a hands-on Mechanical Construction Manager with strong site leadership experience within the M&E sector.\n\nRequirements:\n\nRelevant Mechanical qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)\nSSSTS or SMSTS certification\nMinimum 4 years' experience in a supervisory or site management role\nBackground working for M&E contractors\nExperience delivering projects within the commercial sector (fit-out experience highly desirable)\nStrong understanding of mechanical services installation and site coordinationThe Opportunity\nThis is a great opportunity to join a respected contractor with a solid reputation in the London market, offering long-term career development and exposure to high-value, fast-paced commercial projects.\n\nPackage\n\nCompetitive salary (dependent on experience)\nBenefits package\nOngoing career progression opportunities\nCentral London project locations
