Mechanical Site Manager – Central London (Blackfriars Area)
THIS IS AN IMMEDIATE START!
We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to join a major project based near Blackfriars Bridge. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile development with a strong pipeline of ongoing work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage all mechanical site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard
* Coordinate subcontractors and site teams, maintaining productivity and quality control
* Work closely with project managers, engineers, and client representatives
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
* Manage installation of large-scale mechanical systems, including prefabricated pipework
* Monitor progress, resolve on-site issues, and report on project milestones
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager on heavy commercial or industrial projects
* Strong background working with large, prefabricated pipework systems
* Ability to manage complex installations in a fast-paced city environment
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or building services
* SMSTS/SSSTS and a strong understanding of H&S practices
Desirable:
* Previous experience working on major London-based projects
* Experience on projects delivered by leading Tier 1 contractors (e.g. Dornan, Mace)
