Job Title: Inventory Manager
Location: Lynn Road, Wisbech
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: Mon to Fri 8.00 am to 17.00 pm
Main Purpose:
The Inventory Manager is responsible for maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and visibility of all inventory across the site(s), while leading a small team and influencing wider operational performance. This role plays a key part in ensuring the Warehouse Management System (WMS) reflects real-time stock accuracy, supporting operational efficiency, rework activity, and delivery against contractual KPIs and SLAs.
Key Accountabilities:
Inventory Control & Accuracy:
Own and manage stock accuracy across the site, ensuring the WMS is maintained to a high standard at all times Develop, implement, and manage a robust Perpetual Inventory (PI) schedule Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing preventative actions Ensure all inventory processes are compliant with internal, customer, and audit requirementsRework & Value-Added Activity:
Take full ownership of rework activities across sites, ensuring they are planned, controlled, and delivered efficiently Coordinate rework priorities in line with operational demand and customer requirements Ensure accurate stock movements and system updates relating to rework processesOperational Influence
