Human Resources Business Partner

New Today

I am delighted to be working with commercial global business to appoint a HR Business Partner for a 6 month fixed term contract during an exciting time of change and transformation. About the Role: You’ll play a key role in supporting our employees through their busiest season while also contributing to major strategic changes across the organisation. This includes moving our HR shared services in house, restructuring parts of the business, and ensuring all policies, contracts, and documentation are fit for purpose. You will work closely with the Head of HR and manage day‑to‑day delivery independently, elevate risks appropriately, and help keep the organisation moving forward during a period of significant change. Key responsibilities of the role include: Operational HR Support
Providing practical HR support to multiple sites. Managing a wide range of ER cases including performance, conduct, absence, safeguarding concerns, and conflict resolution. Coaching managers to build capability and ensure consistent, people‑centred decision‑making. Ensuring all processes and decisions are legally compliant and aligned with best practice.
Change, Transition & Restructuring
Supporting the transition of HR shared services from an outsourced to an in‑house model. Leading key elements of organisational restructuring, including planning and delivering collective and individual redundancy consultations. Drafting business cases, scripts, letters, and all consultation materials.
Stakeholder Management
Working confidently in grey areas and making informed decisions. Maintaining clear communication with the HR team and key stakeholders. Providing steady, credible support during periods of change.
What We’re Looking For: This is exciting and pivotal period of organisational transformation, and we’re looking for an experienced HR Business Partner who can bring calm, clarity, and structure to a fast‑moving environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in ambiguity, operates with confidence, and enjoys balancing hands‑on operational HR with complex change and transition projects.
Significant experience managing collective redundancy processes and leading restructuring projects. Strong background drafting HR policies, contracts, and people documentation. Solid generalist HR experience with advanced ER capability. Someone who is calm, pragmatic, and solutions‑focused, with strong written communication skills.
