About the Role Anderson Knight Recruitment is delighted to be working exclusively with a well-established business on the outskirts of Edinburgh to recruit a confident and proactive HR Adviser. This is a true generalist role, supporting site-based HR operations in a fast-paced and evolving environment. The position will involve travel within Scotland, partnering with managers and employees across multiple locations, so a full driving licence is essential. While you will operate as the primary HR contact on site, you will also be part of a wider HR function, giving you access to ongoing support, collaboration, and professional guidance. Key Responsibilities * Provide practical, expert HR advice to managers on a broad range of employee relations matters * Manage end-to-end HR casework including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and performance issues * Support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning activities * Ensure consistent application of HR policies and compliance with current employment legislation * Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that support business growth and improvement * Maintain accurate HR records and produce reports as required * Build strong, credible relationships with stakeholders across multiple sites About You * Demonstrated experience in a generalist HR role, ideally with exposure to standalone working * Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice * Confident managing a varied and often high-volume ER caseload independently * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills * Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands * Flexible and willing to travel across Scotland as required * CIPD qualified or currently working towards qualification (desirable) What’s on Offer * A high-autonomy role with the backing of an experienced and supportive HR team * A varied and fast-paced position with exposure across multiple sites * A stable, permanent opportunity within a well-regarded organisation If you are a self-sufficient HR professional who thrives in a busy, hands-on role and enjoys building strong relationships across a business, we would love to hear from you
