A well-regarded Primary School in the Borough of Merton is seeking Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to join their team ASAP. This is a term-time only role paid on a daily rate.

What will this HLTA position involve?

Delivering planned learning activities and supporting children both in and out of the classroom

Taking responsibility for whole classes in the absence of teachers

Supporting children with additional learning needs and promoting inclusion

Collaborating with teaching staff to contribute to lesson planning and children's progress

Assisting with assessment, monitoring, and reporting on pupil development

ABOUT THE ROLE

Supporting teaching and learning across key stages in a primary school

Leading classes when required and assisting teachers in delivering curriculum

£120 - £140 per day - Term-Time Contract (Daily pay based on experience)

ASAP Start - Term Time Only - Full Time availability preferred

Based in the London Borough of Merton

ABOUT YOU

HLTA qualification or equivalent experience

Proven experience working with primary school children

Confident in managing whole classes and delivering learning activities

Strong communication and organisational skills

Committed to supporting children's educational and social development
