Are you an experienced and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking to take the next step in your career? A welcoming and diverse primary school in Brent, London, is seeking a confident HLTA to support teaching and learning across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.

This full-time, long-term position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to work closely with children across different year groups.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead whole-class learning in the absence of a teacher

• Deliver targeted interventions and small group sessions across core subjects

• Support pupils with a range of abilities and learning needs

• Work collaboratively with class teachers and support staff

• Assist in the planning and preparation of lessons and resources

• Maintain a positive learning environment and promote pupil wellbeing

Requirements
• HLTA status or equivalent relevant qualification/experience

• Proven experience working in a primary school setting (EYFS, KS1, or KS2)

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• Ability to lead whole-class sessions confidently and effectively

• A proactive, adaptable, and professional approach

• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
