Requirements for the Role

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (preferred but not required)

Level 3 or higher in Teaching and Education or Teaching Assisting

2–5 years’ experience working within education

Ability to support with teaching, cover, and 1:1 student support

Excellent behaviour management with pupils aged 4–11

Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills

DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)

Creativity in lesson delivery to motivate and engage pupils

Confidence leading a class in the teacher’s absence
