Job Description

We are looking to appoint an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor who can support ongoing projects based in Edinburgh.\nThis role would suit a commercially strong QS with the ability to manage projects independently and provide commercial leadership.\nKey Responsibilities:\n * Full commercial management of projects from pre-contract through to final account\n * Cost control, forecasting and reporting\n * Preparation and agreement of valuations and variations\n * Subcontractor procurement and account management\n * Final accounts and client liaison\n * Proven experience operating at Senior QS level.\n * Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple workstreams\n * Excellent commercial and communication skills\nDetails:\n * Location: Edinburgh\n * Start: ASAP\n * Engagement: Freelance / Contract\n * Competitive day or hourly rate, dependent on experience
