Freelance Quantity Surveyor – Edinburgh

We are looking to appoint an experienced\tFreelance Quantity Surveyor who can support ongoing projects based in Edinburgh.

This role would suit a commercially strong QS with the ability to manage projects independently and provide commercial leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full commercial management of projects from pre-contract through to final account
  • Cost control, forecasting and reporting
  • Preparation and agreement of valuations and variations
  • Subcontractor procurement and account management
  • Final accounts and client liaison
  • Proven experience operating at Senior QS level.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple workstreams
  • Excellent commercial and communication skills
