We are looking to appoint an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor who can support ongoing projects based in Edinburgh. This role would suit a commercially strong QS with the ability to manage projects independently and provide commercial leadership. Key Responsibilities: * Full commercial management of projects from pre-contract through to final account * Cost control, forecasting and reporting * Preparation and agreement of valuations and variations * Subcontractor procurement and account management * Final accounts and client liaison * Proven experience operating at Senior QS level. * Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple workstreams * Excellent commercial and communication skills Details: * Location: Edinburgh * Start: ASAP * Engagement: Freelance / Contract * Competitive day or hourly rate, dependent on experience...
