This is an excellent opportunity to join the business support team and play a key role in delivering accurate, efficient, and proactive financial management across the business.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Manage purchase ledger processes, including payment runs, internal transfers, and ad hoc payments.\n\n * \n\n Handle invoicing and payments.\n\n * \n\n Reconcile monthly sales invoices and support the wider fee process.\n\n * \n\n Oversee all banking activity, including timely bank reconciliations.\n\n * \n\n Ensure accurate and compliant tax submissions, including VAT returns and Corporation Tax.\n\n * \n\n Support cashflow reporting and analysis across the business\n\nPayroll & Pension Management\n\n * \n\n Process payroll for several companies using Sage 50 Payroll.\n\n * \n\n Post payroll and tax journals accurately, ensuring all liabilities are recorded.\n\n * \n\n Administer the Trustee pension scheme, including payments to retirees and associated administrative tasks.\n\n * \n\n Complete all purchase ledger tasks end-to-end.\n\n * \n\n Reconcile and post credit card transactions.\n\nDesirable (Not Essential)\n\n * \n\n Preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts and reporting for the Executive Board.\n\nSkills, Experience & Qualifications\n\n * \n\n Proven experience working as a Finance Manager, Bookkeeper, or Finance Officer.\n\n * \n\n Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial best practices.\n\n * \n\n Proficiency with Sage 50 Accounts and Sage 50 Payroll is essential.\n\n * \n\n High level of numerical accuracy, analytical capability, and attention to detail.\n\n * \n\n Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.\n\n * \n\n Clear and confident communication skills, capable of building effective relationships with internal teams and external partners
