Position: Facilities Manager
Location: Fitzroy Place, London, W1T 3BP
Working Hours: Monday – Friday
Salary:  £55,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience)

Development Details:
This role is based at Fitzroy Place, a prestigious residential development in Fitzrovia comprising 289 apartments. The development features a beautifully landscaped central courtyard, commercial office units, and a restored Grade II listed chapel. Ideally situated, it is within easy walking distance of Oxford Circus and Great Portland Street tube stations.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements: As a Facilities Manager at Rendall & Rittner, you will:
Have a strong technical services background and in-depth knowledge of M&E plant management, statutory compliance, client reporting, and the oversight of hard and soft service operations.
Responsible for the operational oversight of the facilities department, this includes working collaboratively with the client and their Facilities Manager. This includes attending client meetings and reporting.
Lead your on-site team and contractors to ensure high standards are consistently met, providing direction and support where required. You will line manage approximately 11 staff including a maintenance operative, cleaning operatives and estate operatives.
Be responsible for all people management aspects within your team, including recruitment, performance management, appraisals, training and development.
Manager contractor / service provider performance to ensure quality, value for money, and timely delivery of services.
Have experience managing a range of on-site major works projects including full lifecycle delivery.
Manage Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules, ensuring any remedial works are identified and actioned promptly.
Be highly IT literate, with experience using Building Management Systems (BMS) and other relevant systems.
Manage and coordinate reactive maintenance and create maintenance project schedules.
Carry out regular M&E inspections, including plant rooms, tank rooms, and associated infrastructure, ensuring accurate record keeping and compliance.
Maintain and update Health & Safety documentation on Quooda.
Ideally hold a NEBOSH qualification or equivalent Health & Safety / Facilities certification.
