Facilities Manager (12-Month FTC) | London | Up to £60,000
We are working with a leading UK law firm to appoint a Facilities Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract, based in London.
This is a high-impact role, taking ownership of facilities operations across multiple offices, leading a team, and ensuring a consistently high standard of service delivery in a professional services environment.
The Opportunity
You’ll oversee the day-to-day running of facilities and reprographics, working closely with senior leadership to drive operational efficiency, supplier performance, and workplace standards across the business.
This role combines hands-on operational management with strategic oversight, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, service-led environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage facilities, reprographics, and support teams to deliver high-quality internal services
- Oversee contractor performance, supplier relationships, and service delivery across multiple sites
- Support office moves, refurbishments, and workplace optimisation projects
- Manage budgets, procurement processes, and cost efficiencies
- Ensure meeting rooms, office environments, and equipment are maintained to a high standard
- Act as a key point of contact for facilities-related queries and service improvements
Health & Safety
- Ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety legislation and best practice
- Oversee risk assessments, fire safety procedures, and workplace compliance
- Manage DSE assessments, first aid provision, and training requirements
- Act as deputy to the Head of Facilities when required
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a facilities management role
- Proven experience managing or supervising teams
- Health & Safety qualification (essential)
- Experience within a law firm or professional services environment (highly advantageous)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Commercial awareness with experience managing suppliers and budgets
- Proactive, organised, and able to operate with autonomy
Additional Details
- London-based (with occasional travel to regional offices)
- Salary: Up to £60,000
- 12-month fixed-term contract
- Interview process: 2 stages (including at least one in-person)
