This is a long established, London based law firm with a strong reputation across private client, commercial, and dispute resolution work. The firm is known for its discreet, relationship driven approach and for advising high net worth individuals, international families, senior executives, and sophisticated corporate clients. It has a multi disciplinary structure that allows teams to work closely across departments such as corporate, litigation, immigration, private wealth, and property.


Employment Team Overview

The employment team is a well regarded and steadily expanding department within the firm. It consists of a mix of partners, senior lawyers, associates, and junior team members, supported by dedicated administrative staff. The team handles a wide range of both contentious and non contentious employment matters, routinely advising employers, executives, and business owners across a broad range of sectors.


The Role

The position involves advising on a broad range of employment law matters and handling both contentious and non-contentious work. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Workplace reorganisations
  • Disciplinary and grievance processes
  • Employment aspects of corporate transactions, including due diligence and support for M&A work
  • Drafting employment contracts, policies, consultancy agreements, NDAs, and settlement agreements
  • Advising on TUPE
  • Employment-status issues
  • Day to day advisory support for clients
  • Tribunal and court-related work


Candidates should have experience of the Employment Tribunal process and bring a strong grounding in advising employer clients. Experience advising individual employees or senior executives is advantageous. The role requires someone capable of providing clear, confident advice and working with an appropriate level of autonomy.


The ideal candidate will:

  • Have 3 PQE + in employment law
  • Bring experience across both contentious and non-contentious matters, ideally acting for both employers and senior employees
  • Demonstrate strong academic background
  • Have received high quality training and developed solid technical skills
  • Be ambitious, diligent, collaborative, and technically capable
  • Be confident, personable, and discreet when working directly with clients
